## SPORTS PAGE | Bozich & Crawford on Kentucky's loss to South Carolina Kentucky basketball dropped to 10-6 overall and 1-3 in the SEC after falling to South Carolina 71-68 on Tuesday night at Colonial Life Arena. The Wildcats led by five at the break but could not hold on, as the Gamecocks shot 51.9 percent from the field in the second half and hit 10 of their last 14 shots. Kentucky was led by Oscar Tshiebwe's 19 points and 16 rebounds, but he was just 6-of-16 from the field. Antonio Reeves added 16 points, Jacob Toppin had 11, and Cason Wallace scored 10. South Carolina was led by GG Jackson's 24 points and 10 rebounds. Hayden Brown added 15 points, and Meechie Johnson scored 13. The Gamecocks improved to 11-5 overall and 2-2 in the SEC with the win. Kentucky will return to action on Saturday when they host Mississippi State at Rupp Arena.
